Progress

I ended up staying home with a sick little boy today. However, I was able to make it up to get my second HCG. They called early this afternoon, and I think that that told me that the level was over 1,000. I got the green light for an OB ultrasound in 2-3 weeks.

I'm scheduled for our first ultrasound on the 29th. To quote Dr. Sam Beckett...."oh boy."

Ahhh... Quantum Leap! See- we were totally twins in a past life or something :).

Congratulations on an excellent beta!! And an extra HUGE Congratulations on the new baby!!! That is awesome, awesome news!!

Just remember that while newborns are a lot of work they are also super, super, super sweet. Those little sighs and grunts and the expressions on their faces. The snuggles and the coos... There are a lot of good things to balance out the work and somehow you'll make it work :).

I've been checking on you all week waiting to hear an update and I'm so glad to hear that things look good! I'm so, so, so happy for you guys!! Great news!

I'm sorry to hear your little one is sick - but it's a good day to stay inside. Snuggle up on the couch together and keep out of the cold MN weather!

Woo hoo on the excellent numbers! I can't wait to hear all about your first ultrasound. And don't worry about your ambivalence now, it will fade with time.
